Bigfoot is a hard rock band from Wigan who burst onto the scene in the spring of 2014. With a wide range of influences from The Eagles through to Pantera, the group boasts the powerful vocals of Antony Ellis, dual lead guitars from Sam Millar and Mick McCullagh, plus the thunderous rhythm section of bassist Matt Avery and drummer Tom Aspinall.

Having toured constantly around the UK and performed at festivals including Breakout, Bloodstock, Hard Rock Hell, Steelhouse and more, the quintet have built themselves a loyal grassroots following in their home territory. Two successful self-released EP’s also drew the attention of the Naples based rock powerhouse Frontiers Music Srl, who signed them to their roster as fast as they could.

‘The Fear’ was written shortly after the release of the second EP. Sam Millar describes it as “a song about the fear in our heads and how it can consume your whole life and take over”, while musically Mick McCullagh states that “it is a Jekyll and Hyde type affair. There’s the gnarly, in your face heavy rock guitar side of it, then the melodic, anthemic side with big uplifting vocals. It’s very dynamic, which adds to the tension we were aiming for.”

The video for ‘The Fear’ was shot by Shane Green at The Giffard in Wolverhampton. Tom Aspinall says “we had played there a month or so before and thought the stage would be perfect for the shots we wanted with the idea of it being quite dark and frantic. We’ve worked with Shane in the past and knew he would deliver a fast paced and exciting video.”

The self-titled debut album by Bigfoot is out on 13th October via Frontiers. Co-produced by the band with Justin Richards (who also mixed the record), it consists of eleven songs. The artwork and tracklisting are as follows :

1 Karma
2 The Fear
3 Tell Me A Lie
4 Forever Alone
5 Eat Your Words
6 Prisoner Of War
7 Freak Show
8 I Dare You
9 The Devil In Me
10 Uninvited
11 Yours

This Bigfoot is no myth, but they are about to become legends.

EVANESCENCE RETURN WITH FOURTH STUDIO ALBUM  ON NOVEMBER 10TH

EVANESCENCE are returning with SYNTHESIS, their fourth and most ambitious album to date, set for a November 10th release. The album features a reworking of some of EVANESCENCE’s best-loved songs recorded with a full orchestra and electronica combined with the band and Amy Lee’s virtuoso piano and voice.

EVANESCENCE – lead singer-songwriter and pianist Amy Lee, bassist Tim McCord, drummer Will Hunt, lead guitarist/backing vocalist Troy McLawhorn and guitarist Jen Majura – worked with producers Will Hunt and orchestra arranger and composer David Campbell on SYNTHESIS which will also feature two new EVANESCENCE songs, the first of which, entitled “Imperfection” will be released today.  The album includes guest performance by famed violinist Lindsey Stirling on “Hi-Lo” the other new song on the album.

AMY LEE describes the meaning behind “Imperfection,” “For me, this is the most important song on the album. I struggled with the lyrics for a long time because there was a lifetime of work to live up to and I wasn’t sure what to say or how to be good enough. When it finally started pouring out of me, it was undeniable. I had no choice. It’s for all the people we’ve lost, all the people who we could lose, to suicide and depression. I’m singing from the perspective of the person left behind, the person in the waiting room. It’s a plea to fight for your life, to stay. Don’t give into the fear- I have to tell myself that every day. Nobody is perfect.  We are all imperfect, and it’s precisely those imperfections that make us who we are, and we have to embrace them because there’s so much beauty in those differences. Life is worth fighting for. You are worth fighting for.”

“This album is a total passion project for me. There are so many layers in our music, underneath the huge drums and guitars,” explains AMY LEE. “I’ve always wanted to shine a light on some of the gorgeous David Campbell arrangements and programming elements in our songs, and that idea snowballed into completely re-doing them with full orchestra, not just strings, elaborate programming and experimentation. This will be our first time touring with orchestra and I’m so excited to perform this way-really focus on the vocals, and the emotion and the story we’ve built over the years. I’m also really excited about the new material on the album. Besides the two new songs, there are some really beautiful instrumental in-between moments. The whole thing flows like a big, dynamic soundtrack.”

Both Standard CD & Digital versions of the album are available now for pre-order, as well as a Deluxe version which include the CD plus a DVD featuring a documentary on making the album as well as instrumental and 5.1 surround mixes of the songs.

In what promises to be the biggest year for EVANESCENCE yet, the group also confirmed that their “Synthesis Live” tour will continue in UK & Europe, starting with two nights at the Royal Festival Hall in March 2018. Elles Bailey announces her debut album ‘Wildfire’ and shares new single video ‘Same Flame’

Bristol-based Elles Bailey has a talent for crafting and seamlessly weaving rootsy blues, country, and soulful rock, with a contemporary edge. What’s more fate has blessed her with a ‘smoky vocal’ style that perfectly fits her music.

Elles’s trademark husky, lived-in voice may sound like this young songstress keeps up a 60-a-day habit, but was actually caused by a serious childhood illness. At the tender age of three, Elles contracted both viral and bacterial pneumonia. Ever-resilient, Elles recovered, but her voice had changed completely.  An ENT visit revealed no permanent damage, but as the specialist prophetically observed, “If she ever wants to sing, she’ll be a natural blues vocalist!”

Now, the miracle girl with the made-for-the-blues voice is about to release her debut album, ‘Wildfire’, on 1st September, 2017.

The opportunity to record ‘Wildfire’ arrived sooner than expected when a planned family road trip across the Southern States of the USA saw fate step in once more. “We’d arranged to cut a demo in Nashville along the route,” explains Elles, “You know, ‘when in Rome’ and all that? But what was meant to be just one solitary track took on a life of its own. Before I knew it, boom, we had a whole album!”

In Nashville, Elles drew together an amazing pool of musical and production talent and expertise, who were so taken with her that they went the extra mile (and then some), giving her not just the chance to create a demo, but to lay down an entire album!

“It was always my plan to release my debut album in 2017,” says Elles, “It had been a long time coming, but I could never have imagined getting the opportunity to make it in Nashville, at a studio like Blackbird Studios, where so many iconic albums have been made! I’m very excited about sharing this record with the world!”

Produced by Brad Nowell ‘Wildfire’ assembled a host of Nashville’s finest, including Grammy Award winner and two-time CMA ‘Musician of the Year’ Brent Mason on guitar, three-time ‘Musician Hall Of Famer’ Bobby Wood on piano, joined by Chris Leuzinger (Garth Brooks) on guitar, Mike Brignardello (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Amy Grant) on bass, Wes Little (Stevie Wonder, Melissa Etheridge) on drums, and even legendary Ivor Novello Award-winning songwriter Roger Cook came on board to help add some extra sparkle. Blended together back in the UK with the likes of Jonny Henderson (Robyn Ford, Matt Schofield) on Hammond organ and Joe Wilkins on blistering guitar, the result is a unique trans-Atlantic coming together of styles.

The single ‘Wildfire’ has already secured spot plays/sessions with Radio 2 and BBC London, Bob Harris and BBC Introducing and play listed on Planet Rock.

Having played extensively throughout Europe, and supported UK soulstress Jo Harman on her UK tour, Elles’ insatiable desire for live performance continues apace across the Summer of 2017, encompassing a series of headline shows and festival dates alike.
