Chart watch w/e 6 Nov

Avenged Sevenfold top the UK Rock & Metal chart this week and debuted at number 13 in the albums chart with their surprise release ‘The Stage‘. They also topped the Canadian chart and made number 4 on the Billboard chart.

Testament debuted at number 43 in the album charts with their latest ‘Brotherhood of the Snake’, which made number 2 on the rock charts. The Answer with their new sound on ‘Solas‘ came in at number 51.

Pink Floyd’s ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ was a re-entry at number 85, whilst ‘The Ultimate Collection‘ by Black Sabbath debuted at no. 20.

Former My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero came in at number 18 on the rock charts with his band the Patience.

Good placings for these albums as already the charts are full of best of’ sand festive themed albums from big pop artists.
