Chart watch w/e 16 October

Green Day top the UK album charts this week with ‘Revolution Radio’, their third UK number album album to date. It has also topped the US Billboard album charts selling 90,000 copies in its first week.

Alter Bridge debut at number 3 with ‘The Last Hero’, their highest UK album placing to date and the first on their new European label Napalm Records. Feeder’s comeback album ‘All Bright Electric’ debuted at number 10, whilst Sum 41 ’13 Voices’ makes number 16.

Meshuggah’s ‘The Violent Sleep Of Reason’ is at no. 32 and re-issued ‘Tales From the Topographic Oceans’ by Yes sneaks in at no. 99.
