Number 11 by Jonathan Coe

I will post the odd book review on here as well. This one is recommended, although if you are new to his writing start with ‘What A Crave Up!’ or ‘The Rotters Club’.

Number 11Number 11 by Jonathan Coe

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

He is back on form after ‘Expo 58’ which was not his usual subject matter or style. An interesting take on modern life and politics in the UK. Good pieces of satirical writing on reality TV shows and how some of the press write stories to fit their view rather than the facts. It does have a strange ending or could it be real? Read the book to find out 😉
