One for your collection…THE SUPERNATURALS It Doesn’t Matter Anymore

This was the Supernaturals debut album released in 1997 and it made number 9 in the UK album charts. It is full of catchy pop rock tunes, with lyrics that are more often than not on the gloomy side in sharp contrast to the jolly and jaunty music. The single ‘Smile’ most will remember as it was used in a TV advert for the online bank of the same name.

‘Lazy Lover’ is a great tune about the protagonist who can’t be arsed to get out of bed to attend to his lover, preferring to do said deeds in his head instead! The melodies throughout the album are spot on and not a duff song in sight.

Looking them up on Wikipedia I was surprised to see they were in fact still going and had an album, ‘360′, released last year.
