Aerosmith without Tyler?

This is getting rather silly now…first AC/DC with Axl Rose which seems to be working, however Aerosmith without Steven Tyler? No thanks.

Guitarist Brad Whitford tells Metal Rules: “Absolutely, we have considered it — but whether it will happen, I don’t know. I think it would be great.” Asked who he thinks would be a good fit, he says, “A lot of people, everybody from Myles Kennedy [ALTER BRIDGE] to Axl [Rose, GUNS N’ ROSES]. [Laughs] We had a bunch of people a while ago like Sammy Hagar. It would be a lot of fun.”

I know the rest of the band must be frustrated as they wait around for Tyler to do his country thing, but surely they could do their own solo thing? Whitford has been recording and touring with Derek St. Holmes, both toured and recorded together in the 80’s. Sorry but this one is a no go for me and Aerosmith should do one big last hurrah tour then call it quits.
